Today is the kick off for the Border Quilt along and I am so excited to share the bright fabrics that I have chosen for this quilt! This is a pattern that was written by Jen at PBJ and you can purchase your pattern here! You can go to her website here and see all the other quilters that are making this medallion quilt. The dates for the quilt along are below:

Sept 12 – Making the center (both center options will be included in this post)
Sept 26 – Checker border with two background borders
Oct 10 – Star blocks with a background border
Oct 24 – Friendship stars with a background border
Nov 7 – Pinwheels with a background border
Nov 21 – Flying Geese
Dec 5 – Finishing touches

I love bright colors and solid reading fabrics so I think the center looks really cool! Medallion quilts are really “in”  and this is a great quilt to make for the first time! I am looking forward the next rounds and choosing all the colors !
